FOREST Holme Hospice has launched a ‘Big Brunch’ to help boost income after Coronavirus caused “fundraising activities to disappear overnight.”
To mark Hospice Care Week this month, Forest Holme is encouraging supporters to host a Big Brunch to help raise funds and celebrate the support hospice care workers have provided throughout the pandemic.
Due to the current social distancing guidelines, the charity is hoping to persuade friends, family or colleagues to get involved – whether it’s hosting a socially distanced brunch for up to six outside or through organising a virtual brunch for twenty on video call.
The hospice, which covers communities in Poole, Wimborne and the Isle Of Purbeck, is one of more than 200 hospices across the UK taking part in Hospice Care Week (October 5-11).
